Cloud is not for small players

Quite true, but can be played by multiple small players :)

Definitely the cloud technology is not for small players.
Its a big game, and no expectations in near future i.e. long term game.

but it can be managed by small players, like 2 or 3 small players get together and try it out.

like
1 handles Client, 1 Service, 1 Application, and 1 for Platform

and together they all handle both Infrastructure and Architecture

Major things to consider
Application Communications (HTTP, XML, AJAX)
Browsers/ user interfaces (need to be done, handle both online and offline issues)
Offline Implementations (if no connectivity)
Platform Solution ( can be windows, Linux or unix platform)
Service Data ( can be thru XML or database)
Web Services (any technology)
Storage (again a major issue to sort out)
Sharing (dedicated resources and virtually divided resources)
Security (will be a major issue)

Features in any networking site

I feel their are very few functionalities available on any social/professional/business networking site:

basic categories are:
1. Messaging - Scraps, Private messages and now a days something like status :)
2. Network/Friends - people already you know or second level (most probably you can cover the entire world at level 6).
3. Classifieds - Post ads purchase/sell.
4. Jobs - This is the only feature i think any networking can extent to second level, still from past a decad it is in its standard shape
5. Blogs - very common
6. PROFILES - theirs nothing effective - I like to show my profile to impress people - technicaly grow my network :P ........... same old profile - my pic, my place, contact ............ Can't theri be a thing Which is my own and I like to ....... :(

people have to think beyond this, now a days every week or so you get a mail "Join my network on ...." what to do? All look the same

2 years of experience in web development

In the begging the things were easy, not so complicated, just take the requirements, develop and hand it over.
Then they started giving designing part also …………… Oh god!
Designing, to create a single page it took twice the time of development.

Check this check that, what pixcel, 1 px more 1pt less Aaaaaaaah….

Web Development............... Huuuhhhhhhhssssssss.....

Planning the requirements, Planning the backend and most hard part planning the user interface (you never know what the user wants ............. not even in dreams)

A great challenging, difficult, great experience.

Web sites after PG/MCA

After Completing my PG.................. I'd no idea what I'm going to do..........

Even more confused........ I’d a thought "might have done a job after graduation”

I was not interested in JAVA, so with stupidity I refused around 5/6 jobs because they were on JAVA. Since my specialization was Distributed Systems and Parallel Programming, I was interested in working on at lease a UNIX platform or mainframes. No luck.......

After 11 months of stupidity and ignorance, I got a job in Bangalore @ Aureole Technologies, not even a single clue what I'll be working on?

So joined Subb Sir and started working on web development :) I was surprised and happy.

Apart from HTML no other knowledge of Web, still worked on it for 1 month.

After 1 month Subbu sir told me to stop doing kiddies things .......... get to real life ......... and he started giving assignments.

Slowly completed few of the assignments………….

.

.

.

Learnt a lot of things thing like life-cycle of a Web site, page, and server.

.

.

.

.

After 6 months in Aureole, it was time to take a decision, either work with Aureole or go with Mr. S. Mokhasi, before I ‘d take any decision, Subbu sir told me to go with e-Sutra.

On 1st August 2007 I joined e-Sutra chronicles.

My Experience with HTML after my grad......

At-last after 3 long (very long J ) years of graduation I finally completed my BCA in September 2004. After completing I was planning what should I do now, go for a job or continue my education.

Since 2k4 was a recession period and there were no jobs around especially for fresher, companies around were asking money to give a job, I’ve seen really bad time. My brother and cousins suggested me instead of paying them invest in your studies and go for higher education, so I planned to go for PG.

As I planned for MCA, and I’d plenty of time for me to get start with the college stuff AGAIN, so I planned to do try few thing I learn during my Graduation. During that time I was creating some HTML files, a few website (Only with HTML). I never new at that time that “I’m gonna be a web site designer and developer”.

With a very less or rather say nill knowledge of website lifecycle, and very few resources (Just the notepad), I designed my resume a few web-pages with CSS and javascript.

At that time every page was a miracle and one of its kinds. If I see those pages, I laugh on my self. A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF UNMANNERED CODE AND CONFUSION.

But there are few ideas in those, which we are planning for the site we are developing now.
